They took the coating off my drums, so don't use with coated drums. also they should make them in different sizes. It mutes smaller drums too much, and larger drums not enough. I cut mine down, but the hassle of getting them on and off made me decide not to use them. I'll stick to fabric sports tape, that you can wrap grips with.

when I saw what a low rating product had, just had to write a review because honestly these are the best tone control products available by far . like most of the other available theyre reusable however the adhesive iry strong and durable and can be used over and over again without the need to be cleaned off and there's absolutely no worry about the patch falling off or moving. not to mention the fact that you can play on the surface of the patches which allows much more tonal control do to the new placement options that are opened up because of this feature. Also two of the tabs come with Aquarian patented texture coating which as most people know who have tried Aquarian that their texture coating is second to none I have had the tabs on drums for over 6 months without being moved and have moved onto other drums brand new and they come right off the old drum no prob. I've used Them on clear and coated heads and I've never had happ'n what one revieweron here referred to as the coating being peeled off by the tone tabs. but I use all Aquarian heads I found them to be absolutely Superior in every way from the mylar they use to the way they build their heads and maybe he had some kind of cheap texture coated head that this happened with but even I would see that as hard to believe because this adhesive on the tabs is very resilient and similar to like a sticky version of moon gel. the other nice thing is it doesn't leave any residue behind although it may leave a patch of clean head because the head around it gets dirty and you can see where it's been if you take it off but that's usually fixed by just cleaning the head a little bit. I have personally ordered 4 packs of the tabs and I've used them are not just my drums but also cowbells and percussion effects where I find them to really shine it's incredible how you can mildly tone change cowbells steel Bells wood blocks excetera with these tabs. seriously by these tabs- they are the best tone control product.

Im glad I got these in a giveaway. These actually teared the coat off my snare. These say they are removable, but they are not. These were a great idea, but a horrible attempt
