A coated, single-ply, medium-weight drumhead. The Satin Finish is the thinnest and most durable coating ever developed. Unlike conventional coatings it resists "chipping" and it lasts and lasts. It has an amazing stick and brush response and is great for snares and toms.

Why I choose Aquarian drumheads

Most stores that I've been to don't carry Aquarian and I think it's a mistake. I love them and use them exclusively. It all started years ago, while shopping for bass-drum heads, I was introduced to the Aquarian Super-Kick. I tried them and loved them, since then, I use nothing but Aquarian for all my heads and won't use anything else even if I have to order online!

    This Snare head sounds great on my Birch and Chrome snares. It has nice Resonance that is Controlable; and it also tunes easily. This head is now my go to when my snare is needing replacement. With the tone this provides and the cost per head, there's little to not love. A nice solid head from Aquarian.

    Remo Ambassador was my go to snare head for years, but I completely switched to Aquarian Texture Coated. Better coating, tunes easier, lasts longer, sounds better.

    Great head for snares that are 3 to 5.5" deep and 12-14" diameter. On a 5.5x12 brass and 3.5x13 steel snare with a tiny bit of muffling , really nice sounds. As with any Aquarian coated head , these take a beating. Much better than remo or Evans.
