The only thing I would add or recommend is to find a way to secure the rings to each drum. I read that if bent, you will hear a buzz.....I just placed two pieces of tape to keep them on the drum. Also if you don't have a snare with an internal damper, the 14" snare ring won't help much.

I just purchased a set of these, and they definetly helped the tone of the drums, and they dont choke the drum. I previouly used the remo ring set, and they made my gretsch set sound like trash. I highly recommend these to any drummer.
great

i cant even begin to explain how well these simple plastic rings work. they really cleared up my toms and took away all the unnecessary ring, my toms and snare, now sound like very expensive things, but theyre really only cheap and came in a 350 dollar set. get these rings
amazing results for all sorts of drums.

Ive used these on my set for a while now, and I don't know how i ever got along without them. Loaned them to a friend for a weekend (he had never heard of or used this sort of damper) and he ordered his own set. Cheap. Fantastic results.
