    Can I play this dulcimer standing up like if I was going to be playing a guitar or is it just sitting down and playing it?

    The dulcimer is typically played sitting down.

    Can I put a guitar strap in the dulcimer or not?

    You would need to have a strap button installed in order to use a strap. In a case like this we recommend having a qualified tech look at the instrument.
