Sometimes simple is the best

I use the Ampwedge Polyurethane Amplifier Isolation Floor Wedge with a Roland KC-150 keyboard amp. The Ampwedge is as simple as can be, lightweight and small enough to travel with. Just place it under the amp. The further under the amp it is positioned, the greater the angle of tilt. It even has a molded in handle. Can't get easier than that. The Ampwedge is well made and should last forever. No moving parts or assembly, as required of an amp stand. What can go wrong? I have enough equipment to set-up. For my needs the Ampwedge does the job quick and easy. I find that by tilting my amp I can hear what I am playing and singing. Plus it helps to project the sound much better than placing the amp on the floor. For a single performer like me I would highly recommend the Ampwedge.

If you just need a little tilt maybe OK

You only get 20 degrees. OK you can shove it WAY under and maybe get 22 but then it is unstable. In fact at 20 there is nothing to prevent the amp from being knocked backwards as in drunk woman dancing. 20 degrees ain't much if you are 10-12 feet in front of your amp. Will stick with my Standback which gets 30-35 and cradles the amp VERY securely.

Works well for the Boss K2 100W combo for studio and home use, just be carefull, in that it may not be stable enough on some combo amps set at the 20 degree "notch". Still, quite convenient and compact, and projects sound where it should be.

A little pricey for what it is but a handy tool to have. I also have several amp stands I can use but this is one more easy to pack option. Under some circumstances it probably works better for me at home or in a studio than live.
