Ampeg SVT-7PRO Head and SVT-410HLF Cabinet Bass Stack
Description
Ampeg SVT7PRO 1000W Class D Bass Amp Head
The SVT-7PRO pumps out a ferocious kilowatt of pure Ampeg tone in a compact design that weighs in at just 15 pounds. The SVT-7PRO features the same professional features as Ampeg's other PRO Series amp heads including a flexible 5-position mid tone control, remote switching FX loop and a sleek onboard variable compressor.
The tube preamp boasts a premium JJ 12AX7 that feeds the weight-defying Class-D power section. It's portable and small but can power everything from a small single PN-115HLF up to a monster Heritage SVT-810E.
Ampeg SVT-410HLF Classic Bass Cabinet
The Ampeg SVT-410HLF speaker enclosure give you plenty of volume and clean low end. This 4x10" speaker cabinet has the same speakers and 1" horn as the SVT-410HE with 2" coils and 30 oz. magnets, but the cabinet itself is tuned differently. The bass cab is deeper and has a bottom port that results in better low-end response, down to 28Hz.

I have this rig except my cabinet is the Heritage 410HLF. It's a great sounding rig for any situation. I also have a 810 Classic cabinet and the 410 HLF gives it a run for it's money. The 12AX7 Tube in the Preamp Gives me enough growl to get that Ampeg tone and 1000 watts of power along with a ported 410HLF provides enough bottom end to rock ant stage!!

This is an awesome setup. The 410HLF Cabinet is utterly sweet. I've owned it for apprx 3 months. I first had it paired w/Ampeg B2Re. That set up was nice however, I felt as if I needed a little bit more headroom. I reasearched the SVT 7PRO. I then decided to upgrade. WOW!!! 1kw of muscle @ 4ohms. You can feel the bass in your chest. With the various settings on the SVT 7PRO...you can dial in that perfect setting for slap bass. I have been playing bass guitar for 43 years. This, by far, is the best rig that I have played out of. I have this mounted in a 10space rack along w/BBE 362 Sonic Maximizer, Rocktron HUSH, and a Furman power/light bar. If you can afford it, the price is very reasonable for the sound, ampeg quality, and power. I urge you to do so. You will not regret it

Question. Since the Pro-7 is rated at 1000W @ 4ohms and the 410 HLF is rated at 500W @ 4ohms, wouldn't that be too much power for the cab to handle? Thanks!
No. It will be fine.
