Sweetest Little Rig I've Ever Bought!
I ordered the Ampeg BA115V2 to replace a well-used Ibanez SW100. I have used smaller rigs like this for certain venues with a Classic Oldies R&R band, as well as with a duo playing the same type of music. Having had Fenders, Peaveys, and one Ibanez, I wanted to try something different this time! Ampeg's reputation for sound quality is certainly evident with this amp! What a sweet sound! The 3-band EQ allows for all the tone shaping I need. The Ultra Low button gives good bottom punch without sounding muddy or boomy. I don't like the Ultra High, however . . . a little too much top end for me, at least in rehearsal settings! The controls feel nice and tight - good quality pots and jacks with no noise or hiss. The aux in works well with my iPad to play tracks for rehearsal. I haven't gigged with it yet . . . but can't wait to hear how it sounds with the full band at stage levels!

Too much noise!
I'm so disappointed in this amp. It actually sounds so good but there is a problem with speaker static? Not sure what you call but it is not a raddle or something loose. It is something that cant be fixed. I purchased as a practice amp and small venue playing. You really notice the noise when practicing a low volumes. I will be exchanging for something else. It has plenty of power and sounds wonderful but that speaker issue I cant deal with. I searched some forums and others are having the same problem. Its also very heavy. I would not recommend.

I bought one that had been hit with something. At that time I was told I should take it any way because the next one would be worse. The next one was D.O.A. I just got my money back. I have been buying from you all of my life and I am now 71. You have changed. To bad.

This is a great amp for gigs and for home use. You can easily connect it to the the board for recording, to head phones late night jams, and can easily be connected to pedal boards.
