Description

The DMX Operator 384 is a 19" rackmount DMX hardware controller for lighting effects that are compatible with DMX protocol. It also doubles as a Midi trigger devise. It will control up to 12 fixtures what 32 DMX channels each (384 total channels). There are 30 programmable scene banks with 240 total programmable scenes.

The DMX Operator 384 features an assignable joystick for better programming control, eight control faders with four channel banks, a fog machine trigger (compatible with specific ADJ Foggers), and a RS-232 input to add a keyboard.

    I bought this unit because it can fade between scenes via the fader control. Can't do this with Chauvet Obey -scenes only snap into one another. But the Chauvet can program on the fly and I'm finding out this unit does not.

    It's okay.i use it to control 2 Moving heads. I don't like how when I save the chase, the colors don't save. Only the Moving head pan and tilt. But when I adjust the color, and manually move the heads .. the pan tilt gets lost. I have to reset the DMX controller when I want to playback the chase. I would not buy this again for Moving heads. I am keeping it only because I spent hours programming my sets, and I think I figured out all the glitches.
