Alvarez

collapse expand iconDescription

Alvarez Regent Series Ukuleles, like the tenor-sized RU26T, have been carefully designed to deliver an open sounding and responsive instrument with good projection, volume and fine tone.

All Alvarez ukes are constructed with a dovetail neck joint for optimal strength and transfer of energy between the neck and body. The bracing design is a modification on traditional fan-style braces to optimize response. The response is also aided by a solid œslotted rosewood bridge, which enhances projection and helps to make string changes easier and quicker.

Other appointments and features include quality-seasoned tonewoods, real bone nut and saddles, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard and premium tuners. Case sold separately.

I got this ukulele yesterday and despite being majorly out of tune (which was expected) it was really good. I am a complete beginner at ukulele but I've learned a few chords and it sounds great to me.

I purchased this Ukulele for an adult student who was having trouble fingering chords on a treble model. He has a problem with one finger on his left hand, so I reversed the strings for him to play left-handed. So far, so good. He's doing really well with it. The sound of this instrument is very nice, rich and the workmanship is very good. Excellent product for the price. I would recommend this instrument to anyone.

I got this ukulele in December which is three months or so and I genuinely like the ukulele. It has a great deep tone to to it. The thing is every time I tune it, the tuners make a weird noise and it feels like they could break off easily, but they don't. haha..

  • I would buy from them again

Very pleased with the uke. Ordering online was simple and shipping was speedy. The only thing I wasn't too happy about was the strings on the uke. But I replace them and love the uke and purchasing from the Guitar Center was a good choice.

  • So good that I'm buying another Alvarez

This model (with laminate spruce top) is so nice that I ordered the solid spruce top "Artists" version for comparison. I'll edit this review when that one arrives.
