Alvarez MP70E Parlor Acoustic-Electric Guitar Natural

Description
Parlor Body Size Makes Playing a Joy
The diminutive parlor body of the MP70E nestles comfortably against your torso, ideal for hours of unencumbered practice or performance. Its compact size also makes it a perfect choice for travel, as it's easy to transport from gig to gig. Despite its small stature, the MP70E projects with surprising volume and resonance thanks to its solid wood construction. The spruce top in particular provides a crisp, detailed response, while the rosewood back and sides add warmth and depth.
LR Baggs HiFi System for Plugged-in Versatility
The MP70E comes equipped with an LR Baggs HiFi pickup system, giving you the option to plug in for live playing. The HiFi system features a non-invasive pickup design that pairs dual bridge plate sensors with high-fidelity electronics, providing exceptional balance, definition, dynamics, and good feedback resistance. With a simplified peel-and-stick installation, the lightweight pickups preserve the integrity of your instrument’s bridge plate without negatively altering your acoustic tone. HiFi’s built-in, studio-quality preamp is also voiced to complement the pickups for an optimal plug-and-play experience.

Awesome Parlor

Pictures don't do this guitar justice, it's absolutely gorgeous. Fit and finish is equal to much more expensive guitars. The abalone inlay around the sound hole is stunning. I was a little concerned when I first played it with a pick, the 3rd and fourth fret buzzed on the low E string. I figured it might be from differences in climate and humidity etc. I got rid of the buzz with about half a turn on the truss road. After playing it and letting it adjust to its new home I was able to tighten the truss rod an 1/8 of a turn every other day. Now it's back where it was and only buzzes if I get heavy handed. I took it to a local luthier to set it up and he said there really wasn't much he would do to it. In his words "it's nearly perfect ". So I'll leave it alone for now. The tone is amazing. It doesn't sound like a toy like most small bodied guitars. Sustain is awesome as well as response to hammer ons and pull offs. If you get a chance check one out.
