Description
Alvarez designed the MF70ce to give players impressive balance in both tonality and volume across all six strings, making it an articulate and accurate instrument. Tonally, they have balanced the compression available from the smaller body size with a lighter weight X-brace design. This keeps the OM’s round notes and super-fast response but balances those features with a more open projection. No matter what music or playing style you gravitate toward, this all-solid, finely dressed guitar is a true all-rounder with an impressive, eloquent voicing.
This cutaway model allows for easy access up the neck and is fitted with the LR Baggs HiFi system, a non-invasive pickup design that pairs dual bridge plate sensors with high-fidelity electronics, providing exceptional balance, definition, dynamics, and good feedback resistance. With a simplified peel-and-stick installation, the lightweight pickups preserve the integrity of your instrument’s bridge plate without negatively altering your acoustic tone. HiFi’s built-in, studio-quality preamp is also voiced to complement the pickups for an optimal plug-and-play experience.

The dimension is very similar to the Martin 000. I like the shorrer scale and the 1 3/4 nut width. I have very large fingers and need that spacing. The all solid wood construction really aids to the sound and the rosewood fret board give a slight zing to the high strings but does not dominate when strummed. Real balanced tone and beautify sound.

Does the LR Baggs electronics have soundhole controls for volume and tone? I did not notice any controls on the upper bout. Thank you!
