Alvarez LJ2E Travel Acoustic-Electric Guitar Natural

The term “solid top” of course refers to the soundboard of an acoustic guitar being made of solid wood, rather than being laminated. However, just because the top is solid, it does not necessarily mean the sound automatically benefits from this feature. The tone of the instrument only improves significantly when the whole guitar is built correctly to optimize the energy a solid soundboard can generate. Artist Series is built to do exactly this.
FST2 is a forward shifted X brace design, this means the axis of the X is closer to the sound hole and therefore creates a larger soundboard area allowing for more energy and vibration to be harnessed. Both the X braces and asymmetric tone bars are carefully scalloped. The scalloping design was the result of years of continual development in our Yairi workshops.
The Artist Series sound and personality is open and powerful. FST2 also creates very good balance so both the treble and bass registers are clearly present and balanced in relation to each other.
Along with a more angled headstock, the bi-level bridge increases string tension by making the break angel of the strings from the saddle to the top more acute. Improved string tension adds to our sound, feel and response, which are also heightened by the use of real bone nuts and saddles.
Artist Series also demonstrates our great finishing capabilities; the gloss models have a clear deep shine from a finish that is applied as thinly as possible, again to help optimize tone.

Great guitar. Stays in tune. Better than the Taylor GS mini and better price. Good construction quality. It is such a great little guitar my daughter asked for one as well. Says it's so easy to put in her Jeep and just go play.
GOES OUT OF TUNE ALL THE TIME

I have bought this guitar back in March 2018. From the beginning the guitar got out of tune very easily which I thought was due to the fact that the strings were new. Unfortunately the problem persisted to the point that it would go out of tune in the middle of performing a song at time. I tried several tricks but nothing helps, it just keeps getting worse. It is very frustrating, and what's even more frustrating is the customer service that is basically useless...The guitar comes with a lifetime warranty... but if you have a problem with an Alvarez guitar, make sure to live near the shop where you purchased it or you will have to send it to St Louis at your own expense, and own risk...because if you're guitar gets damaged on the way, you will probably not get any refund or repair...I would advise you not to buy from Alvarez, they seem to be a dishonest company with weakly conceived guitar.

The description states that a case is sold separately. Where can I find the case for this LJ2 guitar? Is there a link?
We stock many cases and gig bags. One option would be: Road Runner RR2PAG Boulevard Series Small Acoustic Guitar Gig Bag (1/2 - 3/4 Size)
