Alvarez AG75WCE Artist Series Grand Auditorium Acoustic-Electric Guitar

Players of all styles and musical tastes in need of a great sounding and playable guitar, look no further. The sound is clear and balanced, with an articulate voicing and very musical tone.
The AG75WCE features a great electronic system, an L.R. Baggs StagePro EQ and Element pickup.
The term “solid top” of course refers to the soundboard of an acoustic guitar being made of solid wood, rather than being laminated. However, just because the top is solid, it does not necessarily mean the sound automatically benefits from this feature.
The tone of the instrument only improves significantly when the whole guitar is built correctly to optimize the energy a solid soundboard can generate. Artist Series is built to do exactly this.
Each model is designed to get the best out of its components, and for them to work together to produce balance, lively projection and great response. These components include bracing architecture that is specifically designed for each body shape or tonal requirement.
The Bi-level bridge is designed to heighten string tension and improve sustain and response. Real bone nut and saddle, premium tone woods and the crafted attenuated finish all further the quality of construction and positively impact the performance of the instrument.

There's a lot to like: the materials are top notch, the sound and projection is great. The action is low and the nut width is slightly wider at 1.75" which makes it easy to play. It stays in tune well, I love the built in tuner. Only issue was some string buzz which was caused by fret rocking and fixed by having the guilty frets leveled.

I have been wanting to buy another Alvarez for a while and so I bought this AG75WCE Artist Series Grand Auditorium Acoustic-Electric Guitar. This is my first Acoustic Electric and I was not sure how well I was going to like it. I found out I don't Like it at all.....I Love it. It holds the tuning very well. I had vocal cord surgery 2 times because one of my vocal cords went Paralyzed, and I cant sing in any key like I used to, so, I have to find the key my voice would not crack or go off tone, and it makes me sing deeper from the diaphragm to push the vocals out and stay in tune. I am having to use a capo alot and this guitar really keeps the tuning when I am having to constantly move the capo around. It is well built and the action when playing cords, walking cords up and down the neck is so smooth. Wish I could afford another one just to give it away to a friend" Bottom line is "I Love It".
The best walnut can offer.

I haven't played since I was in my early twenties. My wife recently gave me this as a gift and I can say that pictures do not due this guitar justice. It's beautiful in person and it sounds great. The construction and quality is very impressive. I gravitated towards the walnut over MOHOG because it sounded deeper . I'm glad I did because I prefer it visually and the sound is also fantastic.
