Description
The Alvarez Artist AG610SCE Grand Auditorium acoustic-electric guitar delivers an instant response, broad tonal capability and lots of projection. Suitable for most styles of music, this Alvarez Grand Auditorium acoustic-electric is understated and elegant. It features a flawless satin finish and Shadowburst top. The thinner finish allows the tonewood to resonate just a little more, while Alvarez’s MST1 bracing is designed to let the guitar be open, responsive and colorful. This Alvarez Artist series model is a versatile guitar that's suitable for most players and equipped with the SYS250 EQ with tuner.
Another feature of the AG610SCE is its bracing architecture, which is specifically designed for each body shape or tonal requirement. Alvarez’s bi-level bridge is designed to heighten string tension and improve sustain and response. Real bone nut and saddle, premium tonewoods and Alvarez’s crafted attenuated finish all further the quality of construction and positively impact the performance of this instrument. Case sold separately.

Good value and tone for a budget friendly guitar

Use it as a backup and travel guitar and for jam sessions. This is a very comfortable guitar to play and to my ears, compares favorably to guitars in the $600 to $800 price range. The electronics are decent for a budget model guitar. Action was slightly high, so I had guitar set up to lower action.

Is there any difference (aside from the bevel) between this and AG610CEAR? Best
The only other difference is the ebony binding. Everything else is more or less the same.
