Description

Bluetooth Total MK2 is an XLR-equipped, rechargeable Bluetooth receiver that streams audio wirelessly to mixers or powered loudspeakers. With Bluetooth Total MK2, you can quickly and easily add Bluetooth to any live sound setup. Plug Bluetooth Total into the XLR input of a mixer or powered speaker, pair your Bluetooth device, and that’s it. You can also wirelessly link two Bluetooth Totals together to accommodate larger speaker setups. A built-in, rechargeable battery keeps Bluetooth Total running for over six hours. The Bluetooth Total is a valuable tool that no audio professional should be without.

This product can wirelessly pair to another Bluetooth Total 2 or the Alto Professional Bluetooth Ultimate, both sold separately. Original Bluetooth Total is not supported.

    As other reviews across the web have stated - do not buy this. The product performs well in terms of function and ease of use. It connects easily to your phone, the battery lasts a long time, etc. However, the company installed a feature I'm sure nobody on earth asked for. If you get a call when connected and playing music it begins to BEEP LOUDLY and if you disconnect the call it CONTINUES BEEPING LOUDLY. The only way around this is if you keep your phone in airplane mode effectively blocking all incoming calls and texts (which renders your phone into an MP3 player!). I have contacted the company and asked them if I could somehow remove this feature and I cannot :) Do not buy this. God forbid you use it at an event only to blast your guests with an insanely loud beeping noise. Buyer beware!!!

    I got this to integrate Bluetooth with my Yamaha MG10XU. I'm running a QSC K12.2. The sound quality of this Bluetooth receiver is worse. I had to return it and got an Harbinger single channel mixer as my Bluetooth receiver for almost the same price. Works like a charm. So don't get this receiver.

    I never thought that this receiver will work so easily and perfect. Great sound and reach out really good I hardly recommend You can use straight to the speaker or with cable. Both work great

    We use this to stream break music from a phone mostly. You can also use it to make a portable boombox out of your monitor or front of house speaker if you like.

    To use the Alto Bluetooth Total MK2 Single-Channel Bluetooth Receiver with your Bose Tonematch mixer so you can play music tracks from your phone, here's a simple step-by-step guide: Plug the Alto MK2 directly into an available XLR input on your Tonematch mixer (e.g., Channel 4 or 5 if they’re free). If your mixer only has combo jacks or XLRs too close together, you might need a short XLR male-to-female extension to give it space. Press and hold the power button until the LED starts flashing blue. That means it’s in pairing mode. On your phone, go to Bluetooth settings and look for “Alto Bluetooth” or something similar. Tap it to connect. The Alto’s LED will turn solid blue when connected. The Alto Bluetooth Total MK2 is mono, so you’ll only get a single channel of audio. If you want stereo, you’d need two units and use both XLR inputs (L & R), then link them using the Link button. If using just one, consider panning that channel center in your main mix for balance.

    Thinking about buying because it look nice and compact/portable but Can you keep it plugged in to charge all the time while in use or does it have to be charged first? I read a comment up further that said the battery charge isnt good, just wondering if it can be charging as you use it. A direct power source for it would be a better route perhaps

    All it appears to want is an XLR connection. It should work.
