Description
The 1OP-CW features a solid cedar top, and, like a good wine, solid tops age and become better over time. This means the incredible sound you get out of it will get even better as the years pass. Acoustically this guitar sounds rich, warm, and loud. When played through a good quality "acoustic" amplifier the 1OP-CW, with its Fishman pre-amp, produces a sound that it is hard to believe comes from a budget-priced electro-acoustic classical guitar.
Includes gig bag.

Spanish Quality

This is a beautiful Guitar. I bought mine used from GC so I believe a set up had been done at some point. Saddle shaved down unless it's just part of the quality build. I have two Japanese made Takamine classicals from last century and this compares very nicely. Though this is the least expensive Classical-electric from Alhambra the quality of the Spanish guitar shines through.
Good Guitar for the Price

You will need to have a setup. The factory has set the action way too . The projection and volume are OK. Plugged in, the guitar sounds very good. The guitar sounds good through a quality amp or PA system. Nice for accompanying vocals. I bought this guitar to play in small cafes with a house PA. This guitar fits that niche very well. I wouldn't use it unplugged in a concert hall. I suspect that a beginning student would get the first 4-5 years of their classical guitar studies out of this guitar. After that the student could keep it for gigs at restaurants, bars, cafes, etc. The guitar looks good visually. The tuners are a bit rough. Use a drop of oil yearly on the tuners.

I bought the 1 OP non cut away. I have been very impressed with the sound quality from this instrument. It is the real deal. The open pore finish feels and makes the instrument sound very natural and loud.
