Alfred Guitar World How To Play Hard Rock & Heavy Metal Guitar (DVD)

This video claims to be for beginners to advanced, but unless you're able to read and understand music, you're going to have a lot of trouble. The Instructor is constantly talking about (half-step) this, and (full-step) that, while using different (keys) on different strings. And all the while he's showing you how to play something, it's extremley difficult to see what string he's plucking and what string he's holding down on what fret- his hands are always in the way. I don't care if its the camera angle, or just a poorly edited video, it's just frustrating. I've had far better instruction from free videos on-line. Also the they claim to show you how to play a range of things from Led Zep to metallica, all of which sounded close, but not quite right. Now if you're already fairly good on a guitar, you might find some things useful, but I personally felt.....well, ripped-off. I wrote this review to save others from making a beginners mistake like I did, because once you open the package, it's NON-RETURNABLE.
