Alfred Dreamland Intermediate

A beautiful melody in the primo part opens this lyrical intermediate-level duet. Underneath this melody is an ostinato figure in the secondo that provides rhythmic energy. In the middle section, the secondo introduces a new flowing melody. Both melodies require performers to shape the phrases and take time to let them sing. Students are challenged to focus on balance and tempo changes to create an expressive performance.
