I wanted the feel of an 88 keyboard, something that is just not available in most 49 key series. the 61 one fits the bill.
Great for snyth tones/pads, AWFUL for everything else

So I use this product with Logic Pro X and Pro Tools. The key velocities are all messed up. It's great for programming pads and strings and long tones but when you try and play piano sounds, the the velocities are so quiet. You have to hit every key extremely hard to get the dynamics right which makes smoothness and consistency almost impossible. It's fine if you want to go in and fix every individual key stroke for the desired velocity, but honestly the m-audio keyboard is significantly better. The drum pads can't really register anything faster than a sixteenth note (under 120 BPM) and the assignable nobs leave much to be desired. I wouldn't recommend this keyboard to anyone and I plan on returning it this week. I wish that it worked better because it's such a beautiful keyboard but sadly, it doesn't.
Terrible Terrible Terrible

The sensitivity is all over the place. Notes randomly super loud and then often notes won't play at all especially when playing faster. It is completely unusable which is really too bad because I like the layout and simplicity of it.
