Perfect Your Swing with AirTurn!

Description
The AirTurn Manos Universal Mount with Side Mount Clip 8" Extension Arm is designed to be the perfect solution for live performers who need easy access to lyrics, sheet music or anything else displayed on their screen. The included side mount fits any standard microphone or cymbal stand and the two sturdy 8" arms can accommodate anything from a smartphone to a full-size 13" tablet like the iPad Pro.
Grippy "hands" keep your tablet secure
Instead of using the simple rubber pads typical of smartphone holders, AirTurn designed a set of thumbs and fingers at the end of each arm that can grip the tablet naturally, with enough room to fit protective cases. The Manos mount makes it easy to rotate the tablet 360 degrees, with locking mechanisms to prevent drifting. The whole rig can be folded flat for easy transport and storage.
Perfect for performers and content creators alike
Many performers find ease in storing digital sheet music, lyrics, notation or tabs on their tablet so they don't have to worry about losing pieces of paper. The highly adjustable mount can also be rigged up for easy podcasting, video blogging and streaming. Cooks can keep their counter space clear while following a recipe app and athletes can position the tablet at the perfect height and distance for sports analysis apps that break down their swings.
Universal design, unlimited uses
You don't need to be a musician or singer to benefit from this versatile tool—the AirTurn Manos tablet holder can be useful for YouTubers, podcasters, streamers, presenters, athletes and anyone else. Slideshow and teleprompter apps let presenters follow notes or scripts out of view. There are unexpected uses like helping cooks keep their hands free while following recipes or allowing athletes to analyze their performance. With an easy fold-flat design, the Manos holder is easy to bring anywhere.
Highly adjustable for the perfect view
The included mount allows players to position the tablet anywhere, whether it's to the side or front of a microphone stand or on a cymbal stand for drummers. Rotate the screen 360 degrees, with locking positions in portrait and landscape views. The mount also features a self-tightening hinge that stays put at any angle.

Would I buy this product again and again? You bet I would!
WOW! I am really surprised to see those negative comments! MY experience is the complete opposite! In fact, I was really pleased with the MANOS' durability - I see nothing fragile about it. After substantial online research, searching for THE ONE truly "universal" tablet holder I could use with my iPadAir, my Samsung SmartPhone and my Microsoft Surface units, I actually bought three different brands. The AirTurn MANOS won the competition and I've ordered two more so I'll have two here at home and a third will reside at our rehearsal studio. Its "grippers" easily hold my Microsoft SURFACE computer (and it's no lightweight!) in-place, vertically, better than the other brands. I'm eliminating the need for music stands entirely, reclaiming that precious floor space - after all, I'd like the audience to see US, not our music stands! The MANOS tablet holders conveniently attach to any mic stand and will hold our Surface computers containing original music MP3s of all the songs we play (so we can listen to them anytime, anywhere), a PDF document of all our lyrics, relevant sheet music, notes, etc., all nicely bookmarked and operated via the computers' touch-screens. We can turn pages during a song by using an AirTurn Bluetooth pedal system like the AirTurn DUO, or BT-106, etc... "Look, Ma! No Hands!" No more having to frantically turn pages in that clunky binder on that clunky, space-eating music stand that never has enough light on it, anyway, and is always in the way! These AirTurn products have simplified our Stage Experience considerably. If you're thinking of doing the same thing, I recommend the MS Surface PCs over the Apple tablets... MUCH more versatile & functional. Consider buying the $16 AirTurn "SIDEKICK" as well... it's the longer, expandable clamp for the MANOS tab holder which offers a bit more positioning flexibility.

Has potential, but there are better options
Bought this as I accidentally left my K & M model at home and needed it for a performance on the road. I use an Airturn 4-pedal when I'm playing/singing, so I thought this would be a nice compliment to that. Does it hold up an iPad? Yes... however, the biggest downfall (which should not be, IMO) is getting an iPad in and out of it. It has two clamps that hold the tablet in place. However, it is a bit of a tedious task to get it in and out. If you're just going to put an iPad in it and leave it there, it might be fine. However, I need to be able to take the tablet out quickly, and this does NOT allow you to do that. Even tried to use the other set of clips that come with it (they are a bit larger), but same issue. My K & M model allows me to take the tablet in and out with one hand, and it locks in place. It was a bit more expensive, but worth the money. This one is going back, for sure.

I use this to hold my Samsung Android on an Atlas mic stand. It works very well. I haven't used it for my iPad yet. It is sturdy and has a lot of adjustments.

Due to my own stupidity, I lost the bag containing (among other things) my iPad holder which has served me faithfully for over a year. Went to GC with the intention of buying a fairly inexpensive model (half the price of the MANOS) which was listed as "in stock". It wasn't. Only option which hand a "stand off" from my mic stand was this one. I played one gig and, no matter how tight I made the "tilt" mechanism, my iPad progressively drooped the whole night. It is being returned tomorrow.
It works!

I purchased two tablet holders at the same time. This one and another brand. This one is made in the USA, the extension arm is made in China. However this holder is an awesome easy to adjust holder. The other one I had purchased was cheaper but this one is made to a better quality.
Not for Ipad air.

Product sagged with I pad air. You could watch it sag forward. No amount of tightening would stop it. To add salt to the wound., I bought it with my gear card and returned it having Guitar Center credit my card. The purchase should have been a wash as far as Gear rewards, but previously accumulated points were also deducted. Nobody at GC or Synchrony bank knows what happen or can fix it. Five phone calls later and I have gotten nowhere. Yes ,please GC supervisor, please call me and make it right!

I am left handed, and prefer my iPad Pro on the left hand side of the mic stand. Is this possible with this holder? Thanks

What diameter of a pipe can the clamp attach to?? I would like to clamp this to a Roland V-Drums Rack which I think has 1" tubing.
That's about the same size as a cymbal or mic stand so it will work. That's about the same size as a cymbal or mic stand so it will work.
