You get what you pay for. Decent sound for beginners and intermediate drummers.

Got one of these about a year back. Really didn't want to spend too much so it was recommended to me a good starter splash. It. Is. Awesome. Cuts thru nicely and has an great sound and decay. If it ever cracks on me, I will get another one! But given how its going so far, its going to last for a very long time. If you want an inexpensive splash go for it. Even if you have the cash for a "better" quality one I would still recommend you give this baby a try first.

Was at the store looking for a splash. I liked the Paragons the best (very quick decay) but really didn't want to spend $130. I was about to settle for the Sabian XS 10" (a little longer sustain, more overtones, slower decay than the Paragon)when my eye caught the rack of used cymbals, with an Aqalarian 10" on it. Never heard of it before, so I hit it and was stunned at how good it sounded, very, very similar to the XS but (being used) $29. Even new it's less than half the price of the XS, and to my ears there is very little difference in the sound.
