Can't really give a very good review. I purchased it new online from GC, had it shipped to my local GC, took it home plugged it in, and then when I went to plug the guitar cable in, the input jack was no good. I had also purchased the 24 month replacement plan so the local GC guys (Who by the way are top notch dudes!) Tried to find me a new replacement but were not able to, so the amp was sent out for repair. I still do not have it back or know if it can be repaired.

An affordable Neo magnet combo with Class D power. Compared to Markbass these are hard to beat for the price. I always liked the idea of Markbass with their lightweight combos but they all sounded sterile in how the preamp is voiced. To my ears Acoustic has a better preamp compared to Markbass on their low end combos. The amp really has everything you need from a Direct Out to a lot of tone shaping options. As a combo its only pushing 150 watts 8ohm into the 12" speaker however adding a second speaker cabinet will allow the amp to push 300 watts 4ohm. Really standard stuff but the way its marketed it seems shady. Regardless its still a good amp for home, studio, practice, and small gigs. With a speaker cab your looking at some more flexibility and headroom so you have options. Lets be honest though, if your buying this amp its because you don't wanna lug around heavy equipment and save your back while still being able to push a cabinet if needed and sound good. Class D power amps aren't the pinnacle of tone but they weigh a few pounds, and Neodymium speakers aren't the warmest but they weigh a fraction of a normal style speaker. So with expectations in check, you get a very good amp that performs similiar to Markbass for much much less.

  • Not for the service I am getting.

Was not shipped until I did a follow up, a week later. Received amp, worked for 10 minutes, stopped. Called Guitar center, transferred me to a store, 3 days and still not getting any where. They keep telling me someone will call me back, I keep calling, keep telling me the same. Not happy. Now I have up and coming gigs, no luck.

This amp can do it all! Lots of tone control with the 5 band eq. I like a punchy tone. Lots of punch even with the as set flat! Great tone with tons of volume when you need it!

I play clean "lead bass" in the style of McCartney and Jamerson. This amp delivers the right thump and punch for that. It'seems good and loud as is, but look for one with a good speaker since Acoustic may use multiple brands in these amps. I'm not certain that they do, but check out the speaker for yourself when you are buying.

  • The speakers are horrible

Acoustic bass amps been around for years making equipment for mini artist and been used all over the world about a week ago i went to a local guitar center looking for a new bass amp and i seen that acoustic have a bunch of new bass amp and i saw the brand new look and the portability of this product so i decide to plug up and play it the first thing i noticed was the updated controllers and modern settings then i start playing the bass amp and the sound was alright but the speaker start farting out as i play with more volume an attack with low end of bass so i decided to switch from the 112 to the 115 combo fingering the 15 is a bigger speaker it will handle more low end but it did not so i went on to plug up to the head and cab which i found out the head had a better sound but speakers we`re doing the same thing so for someone who is going to buy this amp i recommend changing the speaker.
