Description

For their Aquila Red Series String Sets, Aquila starts with Nylgut and then adds red copper powder to increase the density of the string. This results in a stiffer string capable of lower tunings, less breakage and better intonation.

    I buy Aquila Reds for all my ukuleles. Great attack, great ring, best intonation of any string I've tried !!! These are a more robust tone. More plucky, less mellow. I like other strings.These are the best for me! Read about them before installation as they are more delicate than other strings during installation.

    Each sting is handmade. They are incredible strings. Watch the video on YouTube. Each string is thin so it is easier to mount and play compared to other brands.
