Description
SR 45 Stationary Receiver
The SR 45 Stationary Receiver delivers a diversity system, professional XLR and Jack outputs and the SMPS solution. The audio level and squelch threshold are adjustable on the receiver. It is a stationary receiver for use with all transmitters of the Perception wireless system.
The SR 45 operates within a switching bandwidth of up to 30 MHz in the 500 to 560 MHz UHF carrier frequency range and offers up to 8 selectable carrier frequencies.
HT 45 Handheld Transmitter
The HT 45 handheld transmitter features a spring-steel wire mesh front grille to protect the dynamic transducer from the hardships of onstage use. Its cardioid polar pattern ensures maximum gain before feedback and makes your voice cut through any mix. It provides low handling noise sensitivity, high gain before feedback and brilliant sound quality, as well as a built-in wind and pop filter to reduce wind and breath noise.
The HT 45 handheld transmitter operates within a switching bandwidth of up to 30MHz in the 500–560MHz UHF carrier frequency range and offers up to 8 selectable carrier frequencies. The transmitter uses an antenna integrated within the housing.

Sounds Great!
I can't believe how great this mic sounds! It provides more low-end response than my Beta 58, but yet does not rumble. The highs are crisp and clear, and the mids are present without sounding muddy. The receiver provides quite a hot signal - you really have to be careful not to overdrive your mixer input! This is the first time I've ever bought a microphone without either trying it out first or having it recommended to me by another musician. Great choice!!

Frequencies conflict with digital TV channels
We used to use one of these for DJ work until we started getting noise and breakup when using it outside. I am a ham radio operator and own a software defined radio that allowed me to find the signal from the MIC and see what was interfering with it. It turned out to be digital TV signals from Mt. Wilson (So Cal). It works ok at short range indoors but is overpowered by the TV signal when used outdoors. By searching the MIC's channels using the SDR I unable to find a clear one but there was one where the TV transmitter was low powered and further away. We'll use that channel until we can afford a new mic. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY on these or any other wireless mics that operate in the 500-800 MHz bands.

As a Mobile DJ a wireless mic is a must.. TO many different people need to make an announcement , speech, toast, etc. SO wired mines are not practical. This has work good aver 70 feet from the receiver with no static or drop outs. As its only used for listed uses I cannot comment on its tonal accuracy reproduction.

I bought this Wireless Microphone to use for my Karaoke System at home. It is light and has a good range. I was able to walk around my house and it was still working. It has a g=really good sound. I have it going through a Yamaha MG10XU Mixer and it works very well. It also has XRL outputs as well as 1/4 inch outputs for better sound and connectivity versatility.

Can additional mic be used or is this setup for only one.?
Yes this would be for one mic. Additional mic on the same frequency would step on the signal.
