Mostly a good guitar but overpriced for what you get. The stock pickups are very generic and flat. I replaced them with DiMarzio's and it sounds much better. I love the look and feel of this guitar. The design is very modern and ergonomic. Honestly this guitar should sell for $500 cheaper.

Been eyeing a Strandberg for a while now. Not disappointed after receiving it. Received in perfect condition, perfect tune, intonation, neck relief and action right out of the box. Though I was a little skeptical about the Endur-neck profile, my hands just for smoothly over the neck without any trouble, in fact, my hands were so relaxed that I could play continuously for hours without fatigue. I definitely love the Strandberg neck than the various Ibanez Wizard series necks which I've played over the years. Tonewise, things are as expected from the factory pickup: the bridge humbucker runs hot, while the single coils give really clean, tonally rich, noise-less output which goes well with my Nueral DSP plugins. The lightweight headless and double cutaway really makes the guitar ergonomic and easy to hold for hours. The tremolo system is really stable, I haven't had to tune the guitar yet! Overall, a fantastic guitar at a great price- do give it a try if you don't mind a non-conventional design!

  • Unreal, so playable and lightweight!

I would upgrade the pickups at some point. The in house strandberg pickups are great but lack the force of Bareknuckles or the clarity of Suhr pickups. Still very good!

  • Unbelievable!
