Description

Two stunning new finishes make up the drums ddrum's Reflex Series. Their tried and true alder shell featuring black powder coated hardware, in either radiant red sparkle or exotic burl. Both wrap finishes are applied perfectly, providing a great blend of amazing looks and road-worthy sturdiness. Both finishes are available in the Player configuration with select add on drums. Reflex Series shells are built using 100% alder plies—a sonorous hardwood ddrum was originally responsible for pioneering as a relevant drum shell material. Alder produces a rich, naturally balanced tone with an emphasis on mid and low frequencies that provides both pristine clarity and versatile tuning options. Reflex Series drums also feature ddrum’s Isolift™ and Fixpitch™ patented shell hardware for unhindered sound and projection.

    Comes with beautiful bass drum wood hoops not pictured which was a big surprise and plus .Tom Mounts took some elbow grease to assemble but work just fine. The stock heads sound excellent and look exactly like the Remo UT heads that come with the import Ludwig sets. No need to replace the heads right away unless you need coated. Sounds 92% of a maple set for way better price. Red Sparkle looks just right, great looking set ! Definitely recommend.

    Every where I take this kit to the local shoe box hole in the wall bar to the larger clubs out here in Long Island , this kit turns heads.

    This is only the shell pack, so the hi-hats and cymbals are not included.
