Description

Unlock a deeper level of processing inside Yamaha's professional DM mixing ecosystem with the Yamaha PY-DSP rack expansion. Designed for DM5 and DM7 Series consoles, the PY-DSP adds 32 premium processing slots for RIVAGE-level effects and plug-ins, giving engineers more control over vocals, instruments, recording feeds and complete mixes without relying as heavily on external processing. The expanded palette includes acclaimed Rupert Neve Designs tools such as the Portico 5033 EQ and 5043 Compressor, along with Dynamic EQ and other premium processors for corrective and creative sound shaping. The PY-DSP unlocks 32 premium rack slots for the DM5 or adds another 32 slots to the DM7's existing 64, providing substantial processing headroom for demanding live sound, broadcast and professional production workflows.
