Used Zildjian 15in A Series hihat (pair) Top 800g Bot 1,000g Cymbal

These beautiful 15in early 1980s Solid Logo era Zildjian hi hat pair is in good condition for its age. The ink logos have faded but the ghost stencil of the original factory ink is still slightly visible on the top hat, clearly showing the era-specific stacked text(TOP over HAT). Unlike the heavy aggressive hats typically associated with the 1980s, this specific pair is incredibly articulate and lightweight. At 800g for the top and 1000g for the bottom, they offer a soft, buttery stick response, a warm and complex wash, and a beautifully controlled “chick” when stepping on the hi hat pedal. Works well for a multitude of styles.
