Roland

Description

The Roland Jupiter-6 (1986) is a 6-voice analog subtractive synthesizer featuring 12 oscillators (2 per voice) and a resonant multi-mode filter (low-pass, band-pass, high-pass). Known for its punchy, "gnarly" sound, it offers extensive modulation (cross-mod, LFOs) and early MIDI implementation. It is often praised as a flexible alternative to the Jupiter-8.
