Description

The premium Golden Reverb guitar effects pedal from Universal Audio provides three classic reverb types in one innovative stompbox. Designed for guitarists seeking authentic vintage tones, this pedal includes Spring 65, Plate 140 and Hall 224 reverbs that were meticulously modeled after renowned studio equipment from the 1950s and '60s. With stereo operation, true-bypass switching and the ability to save presets, the Golden Reverb is ideal for performers and recording artists.

Three Legendary Reverbs in One Pedal

The Golden Reverb contains reverb algorithms that capture the genuine sound of spring tanks, plate reverbs and digital halls from yesteryear. Spring 65 authentically emulates the splashy, dripping effect of 1960s tube-driven spring reverb units. Plate 140 recreates the warm and hazy plate reverb of the late 1950s. Hall 224 produces the lush and grainy trails of late 1970s digital studio reverb. With the simple flick of a switch, you can jump between these iconic reverbs to suit any musical genre or recording needs.

Flexible Connectivity and Routing

The Golden Reverb provides stereo operation, allowing you to send the reverb effect to two separate amps or recording devices for an immersive experience. For live performances, the pedal also offers dual mono operation to route the reverb to two mono channels. With studio-quality analog bypass, the Golden Reverb passes your dry signal uncolored when the effect is disengaged. For recordings, an optional buffered bypass prevents signal loss over long cable runs.

Save and Recall Your Favorite Settings

Once you dial in the perfect reverb tone, you can save it to one of three presets for instant recall. The presets allow fast switching between different reverb types and settings for live performance. With the Golden Reverb, you'll always have your most-used reverb sounds on hand and be able to change tones in an instant.

UAFX 2.0 Firmware Update

Launching November 11, 2025, the UAFX 2.0 firmware update delivers a major performance upgrade to Universal Audio’s two-button pedals, unlocking deep MIDI integration, enhanced footswitch control, and streamlined app connectivity. Players can now select from four new footswitch modes—Live/Preset AB, A/Bypass + B/Bypass (Tour Mode), A/B–C/D, and Boost + Live/Preset—ideal for live "channel-switching" workflows. The update introduces 128 recallable presets via MIDI Program Change, real-time parameter control through MIDI CC messages, and MIDI beat clock sync for time-based effects including the Starlight Echo Station, Astra Modulation Machine, Galaxy ’74 Tape Echo & Reverb, and Del-Verb Ambience Companion. Bluetooth connectivity has been rebuilt from the ground up for increased reliability, while a new wired USB connection enables direct app control from iOS or Android devices. USB MIDI support further enhances expression, preset switching and clock sync capabilities, making it easier than ever to integrate UAFX pedals into modern performance rigs. All updates are free and compatible exclusively with dual-footswitch UAFX models.
