Description

Pro features and doubled strings make the Rogue LX408 Custom 8-String Bass a very special bass. Its basswood body is topped with flamed maple. The neck is Canadian hard maple fitted with a high-grade rosewood fretboard, pure abalone dot markers, and a bronze alloy nut. Neck is attached with 6 bolts for greater stability and sustain. A humbucker at the bridge and a single coil in front are wired to active electronics with controls for volume, balance, tone, and bass. The Rogue LX408's 4 strings are doubled as in a 12-string guitar to deliver a unique bass sound. Bridge offers thru-body option.

String gauges:

1st: .045, 2nd: .065, 3rd: .080, 4th: .100 (essentially a set of light- gauge bass strings)

Guitar strings: 1st: .016, 2nd: .022, 3rd: .032, 4th: .042 (the basic gauges from strings 4-6 from a set of electric guitar 9s)
