The Gen5 EC5 DAW from the E-Series features the same high-grade aircraft aluminum chassis, innovative touchscreen capabilities and pristine audio quality as the L-series. The Gen5 MiKo EC5 includes more than 7,500 high-quality preset sounds, a fully licensed version of Reaper (DAW), their live virtual instrument host Riff, and practically unlimited capability for third-party plug-ins, VSTi's and applications including Pro Tools, Native Instruments, Cubase, Ableton, Reason, and more.

The Open Labs MiKo EC5 ships complete with the more than 7,500 high-quality sounds as mentioned above, a 15" touchscreen for hands-on control of any software parameter and a two-button touch pad. It also comes with Open Labs' proprietary virtual instrument host Riff” the ultimate tool for live performance using VSTis, as well as the unlimited ability to run 3rd-party plug-ins, VSTis and applications, including Pro Tools, Cubase, Ableton, Native Instruments, Serato Scratch Live, Reason and many more.

Giving it the power to do all it can do for you musically, it has an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.8 GHz processor with 2GB of RAM. To save your ideas, the EC5 has a 500GB hard drive, and a dual-layer CD/DVD burner for sharing them when they are polished. It comes with a Windows OS specifically configured for music production by Open and is internet-ready for sharing your finished compositions or for sharing ideas quickly.
