RainSong Concert Hybrid Series Parlor With LR Baggs Element Electronics Acoustic-Electric Guitar Natural

Designed with the performing artist in mind, RainSong's Concert Hybrid Series, which includes this acoustic-electric CH-PA Parlor model, harmoniously blends the best features from all their lines. With this CH-PA, RainSong has matched the warm and responsive unidirectional carbon soundboard from the Concert Series, the mellow carbon/glass body construction from the Hybrid Series, an intimate short-scale 12-fret neck and added onboard L.R. Baggs Element electronics. The parlor body combines the traditional compact shape with a modern Venetian cutaway for a perfectly proportioned intimate guitar with excellent access to the upper frets. A lower bout of 13-1/3 in. and depth of 4-1/8 in. makes it RainSong’s smallest body. The stunning high-gloss finish on the soundboard is complemented by a visually pleasing satin body and the comfortable playability of a satin neck. Blacked-out appointments give the Concert Hybrid Series CH-PA an understated yet distinctly suave appearance.

L.R. Element Pickup
Unlike typical undersaddle acoustic guitar pickups that are dependent on string compression for their sound, the Element was engineered to mirror the soundboard’s actual movement as you play.

At the heart of the pickup, a flexible film sensor only 2 thousandths of an inch thick picks up the guitar’s most delicate nuances. Tracking the motion of the top rather than a direct string attack suppresses “quack” caused by compression and unlocks the Element’s unrivaled dynamic range. The pickup’s minimalist construction lessens any influence on the acoustic properties and creates an intimate coupling between the pickup and guitar for the highest fidelity possible.
