This special Parker signature guitar is skillfully constructed of a poplar body, top, and neck with a Parker Finger Joint set neck and ebony fretboard. Just who is Vernon Reid? Though British-born, he grew up in New York and is best known for his role in Living Colour, a band he founded around 1984. As a tremendous songwriter, Reid helped Living Colour win several awards for their first 2 albums. Besides playing a key role in Living Colour, Reid has created solo albums and worked with artists as diverse as guitarist Carlos Santana and African singer Salif Keita.
