For my Harmony Classic #710 this capo barely fits onto the first fret and can then be moved only to the second fret. The neck of the Harmony is too large (or the capo is too small). Too bad because this is a very nice capo and I would recommend for a guitar with a smaller neck.

Best capo for the money

By ScottB

from Morrisville, NC

Comments about Paige 6-String Guitar Capo:

I bought this capo to use with my Taylor acoustic because I was tired of replacing cheap trigger style capos that affected tone. This, by far, is the most solid capo I've owned. It's petite, but very well crafted and easy to use. Also, it gives me assurance that I'm playing the chord correctly.

Great Capo

By sue

from mi

Comments about Paige 6-String Guitar Capo:

I been using a trigger style capo over the years. Because the bottom part is straight and not curved to fit the guitar neck, it has left an indentation in my neck. THIS capo is so much better. It fits the neck perfectly. I determine how tight I want it clamped not the capo. Which in the long run puts less pressure on your strings and your guitar neck. I to also like the idea of leaving this capo behind the fret nun. This eliminates.."the what did I do with my capo syndrome. The capo is a great buy, nicely padded and easy to operate.. you wont be sorry for this purchase.

Perfect for my needs

By William

Comments about 6-String Guitar Capo:

I love this capo. It easily adjusts to apply just the right amount of pressure so that no string buzzing occurs and so that the guitar doesn't go out of tune when adding or removing it - a problem I've had with other models. If you need a true "quick release" where your intention is to add or remove it in the middle of a song without missing a beat then a different model would be needed, but if you leave it on for entire songs it is perfect.

The one to buy

By Warh0rn

from Baghdad Iraq

Comments about Paige 6-String Guitar Capo:

It comes on and off quickly but its secure enough to place and forget about it. No muting or string bending like some clamps do. It applies the pressure evenly in a straight downward manner... unlike clamp styles. Definately worth it.

Not my favorite...

By Mike S.

from Chicago, IL

Comments about Paige 6-String Guitar Capo:

I thought I would try something different than the half dozen or so Kyser capos I have around. This one is very well made, but take a lot of time to adjust it so that the strings stay crimped and there is no fret buzz, but not so tight that the guitar goes out of tune. I guess I will use it for a while but will probably go back to the trigger style capo in the long run.

Get this capo

By Dan

from Hillsboro,Oregon

Comments about Paige 6-String Guitar Capo:

Thru the years I've used several different capos, trigger type, the old school strap type. For the price this is the best. It works up and down the fret board, not just the first 3. Dunlop trigger capo struggles to play beyond the 3rd fret. Plus you never have to take it off the guitar.for 10 dollars less than the Dunlop get it, you wont regret it.

Comments about Paige 6-String Guitar Capo:

I know a few professionals who chose his capo and I see why. On stage and off you can't ever lose it because it's always on your guitar. I can take a little to unscrew the tension but it functions pretty quick and as advertised.

Quality item but does not fit the wide neck of a Spanish acoustic guitar. If a wider version were available, I would have purchased it.
