PRS Tekton SVN 7-String Electric Guitar - Natural Neck, Slate Blue

Expanding the possibilities of modern seven-string performance, the PRS Tekton SVN combines precision-focused ergonomics, extended-range clarity and versatile tonal expression in a thoughtfully engineered instrument built for demanding contemporary players. A figured mango top and mahogany back provide a distinctive foundation, while sculpted body contours and a shallow violin carve offer comfort and balance. The bolt-on maple neck features PRS's Modern D SVN profile and an extended 26.5" scale, complemented by a 16"-radius ebony fingerboard with 24 stainless steel jumbo frets for precise playing across all seven strings. Purpose-built PRS Stylus SVN humbuckers deliver articulate tone with clear low-register definition, while push/pull coil splitting expands the guitar's tonal range with brighter single-coil textures. A PRS seven-string hardtail bridge and Phase III locking tuners provide tuning stability and direct response, completing an instrument built for expressive extended-range playing.

Figured Mango and Mahogany Combine Distinctive Style With Comfort

The Tekton SVN pairs a figured mango top with a mahogany back, creating a distinctive solidbody platform with a contemporary appearance. PRS's shallow violin carve highlights the natural figuring of the top while giving the body its sculpted profile. Carefully contoured edges, a comfortable belly carve and a lightweight design provide a close fit against the player during extended rehearsals, recording sessions and performances. The body's exaggerated upper cutaway also supports access to the highest frets, accommodating demanding lead techniques across the extended-range fingerboard. A high-gloss nitro finish accentuates the figured mango's individual grain patterns, bringing visual depth to the Tekton SVN's streamlined design.

Modern D SVN Neck Supports Precise Seven-String Playability

The Tekton SVN's bolt-on maple neck features PRS's Modern D SVN profile, providing a supportive playing feel across the wider seven-string fingerboard. Its satin nitro finish allows smooth movement along the neck, while the extended 26.5" scale provides increased string tension compared with a conventional 25.5" scale, helping maintain definition and control in the lower register. A 1 29/32" nut width accommodates the additional string, complemented by a relatively flat 16"-radius ebony fingerboard for precise fretting, intricate chord voicings and fluid lead work. Twenty-four stainless steel jumbo frets offer a durable, consistent playing surface across two full octaves per string, while offset dot inlays and blue Luminlay side dots provide clear visual references. Enhanced upper-fret access completes a neck tailored to technical extended-range playing.

PRS Stylus SVN Humbuckers Deliver Articulate Extended-Range Definition

Developed specifically for the Tekton SVN, PRS Stylus SVN humbuckers are voiced for articulation, clarity and dynamic response across the guitar's extended range. Their focused character preserves individual note definition under heavy gain, helping low-register riffs remain distinct while complex chords and higher-register melodies retain clarity. Designed for traditional amplifiers and modern digital modeling systems, the Stylus SVN pickups provide a responsive foundation for different tonal approaches. A three-way blade switch offers straightforward pickup selection, while a push/pull tone control activates split-coil sounds for brighter, leaner textures. Both humbucking and split configurations provide tonal flexibility for intricate rhythms, expressive leads and expanded harmonic textures.

PRS Seven-String Hardtail Supports Stable, Responsive Performance

The Tekton SVN features a dedicated PRS seven-string hardtail bridge that provides a stable string anchor for consistent tuning and direct playing response. Its fixed configuration supports straightforward adjustments and dependable performance without the moving components of a tremolo system. PRS Phase III locking tuners offer precise tuning control and convenient string changes, complemented by a PRS nut for consistent string support across all seven strings. Smoked black hardware gives the guitar a cohesive, contemporary appearance, while the satin-finished maple neck and high-gloss nitro body reflect the attention to detail throughout its construction. An included PRS premium gig bag provides protection for transport between rehearsals, sessions and performances.

Extended-Range Precision Meets Modern PRS Craftsmanship

Named after the ancient Greek word for artisan or builder, Tekton reflects PRS's approach to purposeful craftsmanship, with design choices informed by the needs of contemporary guitarists. Its sculpted figured mango and mahogany body combines distinctive visual character with ergonomic comfort, while the extended 26.5" scale, Modern D SVN neck and stainless steel frets support technical precision across all seven strings. Purpose-built Stylus SVN humbuckers offer clarity and tonal flexibility through traditional and digital amplification, complemented by coil-splitting options and the stable foundation of a PRS hardtail bridge. For guitarists exploring intricate rhythms, expanded chord voicings and commanding low-register passages, the PRS Tekton SVN 7-string electric guitar combines modern specifications, versatile electronics and player-focused ergonomics.
