Open Box Suzuki MDG-400 Baby Grand Digital Piano Level 1

Have the Cherry Mahogany Piano in our church and it's just beautiful! Yes, the legs are a bit weak, the leg bolts are too short and the piano rolls too easily if someone just leans against it. The FIX: We're going to buy slightly longer leg bolts and install lock nuts on all the bolts plus get three thick heavy duty rosewood piano leg caster cups. Other than all this, this is a wonderfully sounding piano that puts out nice clear sound from all ranges bass to treble key plus so many other functions which will be awhile learning.

Purchased several years ago. Major software issues and humming sound from amplifier. Service tech had to come out a number of times to repair. Works great right now. Now trying to set up midi for additional sounds. Instructions totally inadequate. Tried to contact tech assistance. Does not exist, no phone or website. Finally got an answer by email to contact someone else. Talked to that person. Totally useless. If this thing fails, it's probably going to end up in the garbage.

Sounds good and looks good but legs are very weak manufacture could do a better job of designing the legs.

I just put this together and the gold rods that attach to the foot pedels are too long. These should hold the foot pedel in position. GC did nothing to help. I did'nt want to send this back as it is too heavy to move. Also the top of the piano is suppose to fold over the back of the second half of the top. This is not there. Maybe Suzuki changed this. We will see how it plays.

First of all this piano is extremely heavy it took three people to assemble it. But mainly to take it up the stairs. The screws for the piano were too short. We had to go to the hardware store to get the right length,also the gold bar from the pedal to the piano is too short. The hole that they put in the piano to screw for the gold bar, it's not in the correct place. The biggest biggest biggest issue you will have with this is if you live upstairs, a second floor unit, do not bother buying the insurance. You still have to bring the piano to get it repaired. In my case, it could cost me $400 just to move the piano from my unit downstairs and take it to get repaired. One way. Do not buy the insurance. I don't even think it's worth it even if you live in a first floor unit because the piano is so heavy. You would still have to find storage to keep the big huge box it came in. Side from that, the piano is very beautiful, it sounds fantastic. It's a very good price.

This is a beautiful piece of furniture and outstanding sound and features. I got an open box for a discount and regret it as some one cleaned it with a regular cloth or paper and it has micro swirls throughout.Gutair Center doesn't describe the condition of their open boxes and I lost out on the luck of that draw. How do I polish or wax that out? The instructions don't tel you how to use the features; it only gives a brief description/name of each button. We'll have to figure it out somehow.
