Watch the upper size limit!

This is a well-made shock-mount that is easy to operate and even comes with spare bands. The only reason it didn't get five stars is the opening size. It's listed as fitting mics from 42 to 48mm diameter. My R80 is 47mm and it can BARELY fit it. I mash the levers so hard I'm afraid they'll snap! So beware - if you think "heck, it'll probably work for my 49mm mike..." No it won't! I doubt it will really even fit a 48mm one!

To small from Neumann TLM 103

Was looking for a shock mount for a Neumann TLM 103 and I called and spoke to a customer representative at Guitar Center and he recommended this as an option over the significantly more expensive Neumann branded shock mount. However, this shock mount was way too small and there was not way to expand it enough with the clips to fit this mic.

    This mount is the most sturdy of all the universal shock mounts I have used. It also fits all my large condenser mikes and comes with two spare elastic bands.

    The On-Stage MY410 Studio Microphone Shockmount is designed to fit large-diaphragm broadcast and studio condenser mics that are between 42–48 mm (1.65–1.89 inches) in diameter. The Rode Procaster has a diameter of 53 mm (2.09 inches) — meaning it is too large to fit in the MY410 shockmount.
