I love this ukulele

I bought the blue version on a whim in 2019. I previously played guitar and wanted something that was easier on my small hands. This ukulele basically got me through the 2020 lockdown and continues to be a lifeline now in 2024. The nylon strings are more comfortable than the metal of the electric guitar I had used for years. Tuning is easy as the app store has free tuning apps. I'm completely self taught but I've learned a lot in the almost 5 years of playing. I've bought other ukuleles since but I always find myself playing this one instead.

worth the price

Bought 2 of them for my granddaughters, age 7 and 9 for xmas. They loved them, and are playing them a lot. A week later, they are strumming chords and want to form a girl band with 2 of their friends. The only thing I did was to tune them to pitch several times over a few days. Nylon strings take awhile to stretch so they'll stay in tune, and kids will lose interest if they have to constantly keep tuning the uke. The strings have stayed in tune very well after they were stretched, so keep that in mind.

    I bought this for my goddaughter who loved my guitars and basses. She is petite and it's the perfect size. The sound is pleasant even when the wrong notes are struck. I like to call ukulele "the gateway string," because it has 4 strings like a bass and similar frets, so it's a nice intro to that, and easy to pick up. I got it on sale and she loved it. She even learned "twinkle twinkle little star" after getting it... now her whole is playing with it.
