    I purchased this cabinet about 4 years ago and have never had a situation where it does not work flawlessly. I play an old Kay w/ a Schaller magnetic pickup for rockabilly using it with an Ampeg PF-500 with DI to the board and it is perfect. For blues or more type acoustic gigs I use it with an Ampeg PF-50 tube head and it again is perfect. For the occasional outdoor or LOUD indoor gig I use it stacked on an Ampeg SVT1528 (1) down firing 15", (2) 8" , and (1) 2" compression driver along with an ampeg SVT-350 head....Rock and Roll!

    So I took a flyer on this cab and bought the last one they had on clearance at the local Guitar Center, 4 ohm cab. Used it tonite at a medium size indoor venue with my Orange Terror 500 head. The 2x12 neo cab I usually use is just a little too much for this place and a couple of other venues we play at. I was surprised at how much sound came out of this cab--impressed actually. The 10's were quick to respond and it has really great lows, which I wasn't expecting. I did get it up off the floor via a crate to tighten things up which I believe really helped. Works for stereo speakers--this is no different. Markbass opinions are all over the map, so I guess i was really floored by the tightness! I asked our drummer how he liked the new cab--his response was "that thing was really pumpin'!" Once the cones break in it is only gonna sound better. I think I might be a Markbass believer...

    I use this Cab in tandem with my Mark Bass 102P Combo and it adds just the right amount of extra punch for larger gigs! I like the front ported cab because it adds extra height to the stack making it closer to ear level.

    I added this with my 210 combo... It sounds soooo full and clear. I am super proud of this purchase. I used it for one gig so far and have another this weekend... This combination with the 210 combo amp and the 210 8ohm cabinet is the real deal.

    I have wanted one of these for a long time. I am not disappointed. Sounds punchy and yes-there is plenty of bottom end. AND-it's even lighter than I had expected. Great cab!

    I don't know what amp you have. Two 8 ohm loads would leave you at 4 ohms.

    Hi, I'm in the market for a good bass cabinet that will match the Aguilar Tone hammer 500. it's 500 watts at 4ohms. I'm looking at the Markbass Standard 102HF which is 400 watts at 4ohms. Would this cab be a good match for the head I've mentioned? I see it's also available in 8ohms but am assuming the 4 ohm would be the correct and more powerful cabinet? my idea is to put together the most compact rig possible without compromising tone and or volume. my only concern is would it be loud enough on it's own since most of my gigs are medium sized rooms. Also I'm checking out the other Markbass cabs, 410's for example, they are rated at 800 watts at 8ohms or 4ohms. would it be convenient or advisable to go with the 410 at 8ohms with a 500watt ,..4ohm head, would the head have enough power to drive this cab, not compromising the tone?     Ideally you want you watts and ohms to match. Otherwise, your speakers will be negatively affected over time and you will lose power/not have enough power coming your speakers. You are going to want a 500 watt head at 4/8ohms for your cab
