This is a very good cymbal and i use it with my set or when i play in the garage or just practicing. i would assure you that you will not be let down by this cymbal

I got this cymbal a while back because I really like the sound of meinls. It hasn't dented or cracked in the 2ish years I've had it which is quick impressive. The reason for it being impressive is because you have to really hit this cymbal to get an ok sound from it. If you are a jazz, indie, latin, or any other form of non-heavy drum set playing this cymbal is not for you! Light hits from this cymbal really stink. I suggest this cymbal is you are an intro metal drummer on a budget because of its durability and heavy sound but nothing else. On the other hand, the HCS hi-hats and ride a far more decent and work for most genres.

    The cymbal sounds amazing, and bad things other people have said, I have not experienced!! It's a great budget cymbal, but that doesn't mean it's bad. I will probably get a new crash cymbal and prefer that one, but I will not get rid of this one!!

    This sucks. It does not resonate at all, looks horrible, etc. I have a cracked Sabian that I'm sending to Sabian for a replacement and I decided to buy this so I still have 2 crashes instead of 1, but absolute waste of money. I got it delivered yesterday, returned it today.

    i just bought a start drum set which comes with very basic cymbals that are good to play with, but honestly sound horrible. That being said, I was looking for something to improve the sound, and I decided to try this out and was pleasantly surprised with the sound...great improvement!

    I bought this for my first cymbal to be used as a ride and a crash. I perform in an acoustic duo and don't need too much drum equipment to bring across the songs.

    A gorilla came over and began hammering away on our practice/rehearsal kit. The Zildjian Is were pulverized into oblivion under its merciless attack. Replaced with a 14" Meinl HCS. It sounds good and let's just say, it can take a beating. Sorry, gorilla.
