The Focusrite Clarett+ OctoPre 8-Channel mic pre is a must-have for any recording studio. This innovative preamp hub features eight premium Clarett+ mic preamps with Focusrite's renowned analog Air circuitry for pristine sound quality. The two front-panel JFET instrument inputs capture the true tone of electric guitars and basses. With high-performance AD/DA converters, the Clarett+ OctoPre delivers ultra-low latency, wide dynamic range and ultra-low noise.

All-Analog Air Provides Vintage Focusrite Sound

The Clarett+ OctoPre's eight mic preamps include Focusrite's proprietary Air feature, which emulates the transformer-based preamps of the legendary Focusrite studio console. Activating Air boosts high frequencies for extra clarity and detail. Capture the warmth and richness of vocals, drums and acoustic instruments with the authentic Focusrite sound.

Plug In and Rock Out With Flexible Inserts

Each channel features a dedicated insert for tracking audio through your favorite outboard gear. Easily add analog compressors, EQs and effects to your signal chain. The Clarett+ OctoPre's flexible design makes it simple to customize your studio setup.

With a dynamic range of 124dB and ultra-low noise and distortion, the Clarett+ OctoPre's high-performance AD/DA converters deliver clear, balanced audio. Track multiple instruments simultaneously while preserving clarity and detail. Exceptional DA conversion lets you add analog processing without compromising sound quality.

Expand Your I/O and Connectivity

Add the Clarett+ OctoPre to a Clarett+ 2Pre, 4Pre or 8Pre interface to increase your input and output channels via ADAT. Connect the Clarett+ OctoPre to any ADAT-enabled interface to bring the Focusrite studio sound to your setup. Two word clock I/O BNC connectors provide easy synchronization in your studio.

Premium Software Bundle Included

The Clarett+ OctoPre comes with Hitmaker Expansion, a suite of mixing plug-ins and virtual instruments for studio-quality recordings. You also get an Avid Pro Tools Intro+ perpetual license and discounts on upgrades. The bundle includes software from Antares, Softube, Native Instruments, Landr and more.
