Description

Finding a guitar that matches your creative drive means choosing an instrument that responds with clarity, control and character. Available as a Guitar Center Exclusive in a striking cherry finish, the Epiphone ES-335 Block semi-hollowbody electric guitar brings that balance into focus, pairing a laminated maple body and solid maple center block with Alnico Classic PRO pickups for articulate tone and focused sustain. Its slim taper C mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard with pearloid block inlays offer a fast, confident feel, while Grover Rotomatic tuners and LockTone hardware reinforce tuning stability. Built for players who want expressive dynamics without sacrificing precision, this model channels the classic ES-335 voice into a stage-ready, modern platform.

Semi-Hollow Construction With Center Block Stability

The ES-335's 5-ply laminated maple top, back and sides work in tandem with a solid maple center block to deliver warmth, sustain and controlled feedback resistance. Spruce contour bracing adds structural focus, tightening the low end while preserving high-frequency clarity. This semi-hollowbody design provides the resonance and airiness players expect from an ES-335, with the added stability needed for higher stage volumes and driven tones.

Alnico Classic PRO Pickups and CTS Electronics

Dual Alnico Classic PRO humbuckers deliver a balanced output with articulate mids and defined highs. Paired with CTS potentiometers, 2 Volume and 2 Tone controls and a 3-way toggle switch, the electronics offer direct access to tonal variation without overcomplication. Whether shifting between clean passages and overdriven leads or blending pickups for layered rhythm textures, the ES-335 Block responds consistently and predictably.

Slim Taper C Neck With Rosewood Fingerboard

The set mahogany neck features Epiphone’s slim taper C profile, offering a comfortable grip for both rhythm work and lead phrasing. A 12" radius rosewood fingerboard supports clean barre chords and smooth bends, while pearloid small block inlays provide clear visual reference across 22 frets. With a 24.75" scale length and Graph Tech nut, the setup balances string tension and articulation for a familiar, responsive feel.

LockTone Hardware and Premium Appointments

A LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and stop bar tailpiece provide solid string coupling and reliable intonation. Nickel-plated hardware and Grover 18:1 Rotomatic tuners maintain tuning stability under frequent use. Cream single-ply binding frames the body and fingerboard, while the Gibson-style pickguard and black insert knobs reinforce the instrument’s classic visual identity.

Classic Feel With Modern Reliability

From rehearsal spaces to stage lighting, the Epiphone ES-335 Block semi-hollow electric guitar offers the resonance, control and ergonomic comfort that define the 335 lineage. Available exclusively at Guitar Center in this cherry finish, the Epiphone ES-335 Block semi-hollowbody electric guitar combines classic semi-hollow tone, dependable hardware and modern playability in a stage-ready instrument.

I play this es 335 and have a great time. Its cherry color is bright and perfect and it has the sound we've been looking for. Tremendous and beautifully made guitar. Also super easy to work with the Guitar Center team. They answered all our questions and made it easy to get the guitar.

Absolutely, beautiful, stunning guitar with the Rosewood fingerboard, block, inlays, great sound through the pick ups, but it rattles way too much. I exchanged it for another. I had a set up done to it. I tried different gauge strings, but the rattling on the low E and A string was too loud for me. Really a shame. I really wanted this guitar to work. so beautiful, but unfortunately, the rattling from the low E and A was just too much.

Picked this up from my local store. Neck is really comfortable near the nut. Really sounds good for blues and chords.
