In creating the Bavarian violin, Bellafina starts with Spruce and Maple from European aged tonewoods. The wood is then hand-rubbed to a quality finish, bringing out the attractive flame of the wood. The result is a beautiful red brown finish that will instill pride of ownership and inspire a desire to practice and improve.

Quality ebony fingerboard, pegs and tailpiece complete the instrument. The matching Ebony tailpiece is fitted with a quality Hill black and gold e string adjustor for fine-tuning. Bellafina then hand-cuts the enhanced upgraded Maple Bridge and reinforces the E slot with a traditional E-parchment to protect the bridge.

With all violins, strings make a huge difference in the quality of the sound. With the Bavarian Bellafina has added the preferred blended mix of strings with Dominant A,D,G strings and a Pirastro Gold Label E string. This is the combination preferred by many professional violinists in Europe.

Bellafina accompanies the violin with a hand-selected octagonal bow with premium Brazilwood selected for its optimal grain density, as well as a hard, violin-shaped case with room for 2 bows, and a separate compartment for your shoulder rest.
