One Control Golden Acorn Overdrive Special Effects Pedal

The Golden Acorn Overdrive Special is a member of the BJF "Amp in a Box" series. It was designed specifically to reproduce the iconic overdrive and tremendous dynamic range of the incomparable Dumble amplifiers, and is ideal when placed at the beginning of your chain, before compression, in order to take advantage of its total range. In addition to Volume and Bright controls, The Golden Acorn features a Ratio control that sets the depth of distortion and compression and is used to determine the pivot point between clean and drive, depending on guitar pickup strength.

One Control BJF Series FX Pedals were designed by world-renowned pedal guru and mad professor Bjorn Juhl. All BJF FX pedals can be powered using a 9V battery or standard DC power supplies, and feature true-bypass switching. BJF Series FX pedals are incredibly light (approximately 160 grams) and are built using high quality, compact aluminum enclosures.
