The guitar had a very nice fit and finish. It looked like a much more expensive guitar. It felt very comfortable, I liked it's smaller size, and the action was low with no fret buzz. The only issue I had with the guitar was it's sound. The lows sound okay, but the highs just weren't there. I like a bright sounding guitar, and this just sounded a bit flat. And even if you like a more bass sounding guitar, it still had a flatter sound, not very rich. An upgrade of strings probably would've helped, but I ended up returning the guitar. It's too bad Guitar Centers aren't as big and 'Guitar' centric as they used to be. They carry a lot less guitars at the stores than they sell online, so I never got a chance to play this guitar before I bought it. Actually the 3 or 4 guitars I had my eye one were not at any of the stores near me. Bummer. I remember when it was wall to wall guitars. I will say one thing, their customer service is still very excellent! They were very helpful resolving a couple of issues I had. The staff went out of their way to ensure I was a happy customer.

  • Definitely would buy again!

I bought this about 9 years ago as a backup/practice guitar and still find myself using it over and over again. The sound is great, the hardware is still in phenomenal shape, and stays in tune. Easy to play.

This guitar had none of the problems that you may expect with instruments in this price range. The nut was set up perfectly. The frets felt good and every note played properly. No flaws in the finish or anywhere else. And most importantly, it sounds nice. Arrives with extra light gauge strings installed which is best for someone just starting.
