Mitchell

Description

The Mitchell D120SCE Dreadnought Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar gives you luscious big tone, and with its full-sized cutaway dreadnought body you'll have much easier access to the upper bout for more playability, especially if you play lead.

The solid spruce top nicely complements the mahogany back and sides giving you a more sustainable organic sound, while scalloped bracing and a lighter finish provide better volume and projection. When you do go electric, the Piezo pickup and MA3T active preamp with 3-band EQ give you a wider soundscape to play around in, and the built-in tuner will keep you in tune whenever you're on stage.

Either way you go, this quality hybrid will have you plucking and strumming for hours on end.

Case sold separately.

Outstanding, wonderful instrument for the $$ I added TUSQ bridge pins by graphtech. My buddy doesn't believe what minimal $$ I have invested in this fine, easy, fun to play instrument. He still can't tell the difference between it and his 7k Collings!!!

My first guitar was a hand-me-down from a friend. I did not know at the time that the action was much too high, and it was painful to play. It would not stay in tune, and buzzed and fretted out in several places. I decided to purchase a new guitar to remedy these problems. At that time, I had a limited budget and limited knowledge as to the hallmarks of quality that makes a guitar sound good and play easily. The Mitchell D120SCE was on sale which made it affordable, and the player I had with me assured me that it was a marked upgrade from what I had. The purchase would prove to be a good decision. This guitar sounds great, is comfortable to play, has good projection, it looks amazing, and stays in tune. While I now own a much more expensive guitar made in the US, and made by a very well known company, I still use the D120SCE for practice and travel. It is a fantastic instrument for the price. When my nephew becomes interested in music, I will definitely purchase another one for him on which to learn. I firmly endorse this guitar.

Great purchase. I have ad the guitar for a week now and its hard to put it down. I would also recommend purchasing the store warranty. I left the previous one in the basement during that cold period and Guitar Center replaced it.
