MESA/Boogie Rectifier 240W 4x12 Standard Guitar Speaker Cabinet Black Slant

I've had this cab for years now and it never ceases to amaze me. I went from using a cheaper Crate half-stack up to a Triple-Rec and one of these cabinets. The sound you get out of these cabs, when combined with a decent head, is stunning. I have since used mine with other heads, such as a Music Man HD130 and it always delivers a rich, full, completely flawless sound. I will never part with this cab, it was worth every single penny. I will eventually be picking up a 2x12 cab for those smaller venues though because, as you can imagine, this cab is pretty massive. It's definitely a bit physically larger (and heavier) than any other 4x12 cab I've come across. I used to be able to juuust barely fit my Crate cab in my car's trunk, but this cab doesn't even come close to fitting. My solution for this issue was an SUV. haha. If you have a vehicle to haul it though, you won't be let down at all!!!

There is quite a bit of discusion on the size of this cabinet. Playing on a wide variety from Line Six to Marshall. This is the Cabinet for me. There is absolutely no problem getting highs out of it or hearing the wide variety of tone it delivers. I have yet to hear a cabinet that out performs it. Giving the tone quality live this is my only choice to play with. Sounds much better than any smaller cabinet on the market. In some situations in larger venues it does need to run with a bit more power than normal smaller cabs. Works great with the Trip Recto on the high power. Compare them side by side will out sound any other cab. Promise you won't be dissapointed. If used for its intended purpose.

I had this cabinet and long story short... you should sell it and get the mesa stiletto cabinet... it's the same cabinet but 2 inches shorter and gives you a way tighter tone with more focused mids. If you have 2 of these oversized rectifier cabinets on top of each other (so the top one is ear level) it's not as bad because you're getting a lot more highs but if you're using a halfstack get the stiletto, it's hands down a better cabinet.

A buddy of mine just picked one of these bad boys up and for a period of time its safe to say i lived at his house this cab sounds AMAZING the best paired with the triple rectifier theres no better sound between blast beats than pure silence not a single hint of feed back the best metal amp ever designed by mankind
