This cabinet is great. It's built out of solid wood, and it's totally breathtaking when you see it in person. I purchased this cabinet because I've always wanted a 1960AX cabinet, but 4x12's just aren't what I feel like carrying when I am gigging. The cab comes loaded with G12H-30 Anniversary speakers. These sound a lot like Vintage 30's but with some of the lower mid breakup that the G12M Greenbacks offer, and a little less upper midrange presence. The cabinet is woody, very resonant, balanced, and offers a very dimensional characteristic with whatever speakers you choose. You'd be hard pressed to find a 2x12 with as much class.

This is great little cab. I bought it since it was easier to carry (smaller and lighter than 412's) yet projects more upward than traditional 212's. I have several other cabs (Soldano straight 412 w/V30's, G-Flex 212, Mesa vert 212 w/V30's, Yamaha T412 w/G12T75's) and soundwise this is one of my favorites. The speakers in it are similar to V30's but have a smoother top end and nice thick lows. It sounds nice with both my Rebel 20 and Stiletto Ace. With my Rebel I can get some really nice vintage Marshallish tones. Add to the fact I can fit it in the trunk of my 'stang it really is unbeatable. As far as build quality goes it is well built. The tolex is showing some signs of wear but nothing more than I would expect from normal use.
