Musical Control

With Keystation 61 MK3, maximizing your creativity while minimizing the complication is easy: Use the fully assignable octave range buttons; pitch-bend and modulation wheels; volume slider, and transport and directional controls to play, perform and record with your music software without using a mouse or trackpad. Keystation 61 MK3 also features a 5-pin MIDI output for connecting to your favorite hardware synth and a 1/4" (6.3 mm) sustain pedal input that lets you use an external control pedal, such as the M-Audio SP2 (sold separately), for genuine piano sustain.

    Simple, easy to setup and use. Keys feel great. Not over saturated with tons of functions that I don't want. I wish that I had bought this sooner. M audio makes great products. I built a custom slide out drawer for under my work station. Works with Ableton live, Acoustica Mixcraft, reason studios.

    I have an Alesis 88 key controller, but there was not a good space for it in my small office/studio, where I create, teach guitar, have Chorale sectional rehearsals, etc., etc. So the small profile of this 61 key M-Audio MK3 worked out perfectly! I like the feel of the keys. No problems using it with MainStage and GarageBand, which are the 2 Apps I use it with the most.

    I owned the old Axiom Air 61 and it died on me. I guess I should've noticed it because the sound coming from it was marginal at best for a while now. As a replacement, I wanted a keyboard minus all the faders, knobs and drum pads due to my smaller workstation. This Keystation 61 didn't disappoint. The Note Keys provide excellent velocity and the mod wheel is ergonomically placed so I can provide dynamics to the sampled instruments.

    Can I separate the clap sound from the percussion, and place it on the last key only and the piano sound that sounds on the rest of the keyboard? Clap sound on the last key only. The rest keys for piano sound. AND HOW TO DO IT. (Korg M1 and M-Audio keystation 49es do it. I need to know if this 61 keys do it)
